Dr. Lyne Desautels

Family doctor| Medical Director and Owner 

Dr. Lyne Desautels has been a family doctor for over
25 years. Her approach and background lead her to take a holistic approach to the health of her patients in collaboration with various healthcare professionals. She has developed expertise in the fields of bio-identical hormone therapy, longevity medicine, medical cannabis, and Lyme disease. She participated in the documentary “Loto-Meno.” 
  
As an experienced family doctor with a background in fundamental research, she advocates a medicine oriented towards the biochemical understanding of the human body.  
  
Her scientific background allows her to evolve towards an avant-gardist and preventive medicine. 
  
Her practice is oriented towards early detection, global health and an integrative approach. 
  
In addition to practicing family medicine, she specializes and excels in certain practices such as:  
– Hormone therapy and anti-aging 
– Cognitive screening (ADHD / Alzheimer) 
– Chronic pain management 
– Early detection with genomic counseling

Dr. Rodrigue Martel

Family doctor

Dr. Rodrigue Martel graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sherbrooke in 1993 and has been practicing as a family physician since 1995. 
  
Known for his attentive, simple, and empathetic approach, Dr. Martel now offers friendly and high-quality medical services as a family doctor at CMIE Brossard clinic. 


Dr. Manon Charlebois

Physician Specialized in General Gynecology | Acupuncturist | Clinical instructor University of Montreal 

Dr. Charlebois is a graduate from the Sherbrooke University and completed her medical studies and residency in gynecology-obstetrics in 2009 at the Montréal University. 
  
She has worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist in hospitals in Northern Quebec and Montreal for over 10 years. 
  
Aware of the limitations of conventional approaches, she has developed an interest in integrative medicine and complementary approaches. 
  
Dr. Charlebois completed Harvard’s International Structural Acupuncture and advanced class (2016-2017), as well as the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University (2018). She has completing her training in Japanese acupuncture in 2022 (TJA Institute, New York) and has been a member of the teaching staff for the Integrated Structural Acupuncture Physicians Course at New England University since 2017. 


Dr. Anne-Isabelle Dionne

Family doctor | Specialized in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy

Dr. Anne-Isabelle Dionne has been a licensed general practitioner since 2014. She practiced full time in the intensive care unit at Pierre-Boucher Hospital and at Honoré-Mercier Hospital, as well as in FMG.  
Passionate about health, she founded the OBNL Centre Axis in 2018 with the goal of creating a safe and well-supervised space for patients wishing to regain power over their health through the integration of healthy lifestyle habits, while being accompanied in a caring manner by qualified health professionals.  
   
Her certification in functional medicine from the Institute for Functional Medicine has given her a unique perspective on healthcare, one that emphasizes treating the individual as a whole, rather than just addressing specific symptoms.  
  
Dr. Dionne has a particular interest in bio-identical hormone therapy (trained by Dr. Sylvie Demers and Dr. Neal Rouzier), cardiometabolic health (following nearly 10 years of experience in cardiological critical care), cognitive health (certified in Dr. Dale Bredesen’s ReCode protocol) and gut microbiota balance as well as SIBO management (certified in Dr. Alison Siebecker’s SIBO-pro course).    
  
Ready to take on new challenges, Dr. Dionne is very happy to join the CMIE team to improve the services offered to patients. 


Dr. Philippe Gros-Louis

Family doctor

Graduated in 2019 from the Faculty of Medicine at Laval University, Dr. Gros-Louis has been practicing as a family physician since 2023. During his medical studies, he completed a Master’s in Clinical and Biomedical Sciences, where he honed his precision and critical thinking skills.

Aware of the perpetual advancement of medical knowledge, he has developed a dynamic and personalized medical approach for his patients.

Recognized for his attention to detail, efficiency, and interpersonal skills, Dr. Gros-Louis offers the clientele of CMIE a high-quality service for minor emergencies and as a family physician at the Saint-Bruno clinic.


Dr. Annie Duguay

Family doctor | Specialized in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy

Graduating from Laval University in 1998, Dr. Duguay has practiced as a family physician in New Brunswick and Quebec, accumulating diversified experience in many areas of medicine.  

In recent years, she has focused her practice on the field of bioidentical hormone therapy, providing her customers with a specialized approach. Her integration into the CMIE team now enables her to collaborate with a dynamic, forward-thinking team, while contributing her proven expertise.  

Dr. Duguay is committed to listening attentively, with humanity and professionalism, to support you in your hormonal well-being.


Dr. Evelyne Bourdua-Roy

Family doctor

Dr. Èvelyne Bourdua-Roy has been a family physician in Quebec since 2015. She is certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She has a particular interest in nutrition, fasting, and other lifestyle habits that impact chronic diseases related to lifestyle, such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.

In 2017, she founded the Reversa Clinic, which was a non-profit organization dedicated to helping patients reverse their chronic diseases through low-carb diets and fasting.

She is also the author and co-author of 7 books on these subjects, all of which are bestsellers in Quebec, and she is a co-founder of the 1st Virtual Metabolic Health Summit, which had 10,000 participants. She regularly gives lectures and training sessions both in Canada and internationally.

At CMIE, she will see patients for consultations in metabolic health (prevention and reversal), hormone therapy, and potentially longevity and optimization.

Dr. Caroline Lapointe

General Practitioner | Specialized in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy

Dr. Lapointe graduated from Laval University in 2006 and has worked in the healthcare field in the Quebec region. She started her career in a hospital setting before moving on to work in private practice for the past few years. 
  
Dr. Lapointe approaches medical practice with a human touch, and her patients appreciate her attentive and sensitive demeanor. As a family doctor, she primarily focuses on hormone therapy in the specialized clinic at CMIE. 
  
Dr. Lapointe prioritizes a personalized and proactive approach for each patient, providing high-quality care to everyone in her care.


Dr. Louise Carbonneau

Family doctor

With a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Health Services Paramedic track from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, USA, Dr. Carbonneau decided to return to Quebec to pursue her health studies. 
 
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Laval University in 2009 and completed her residency in family medicine with an additional year of specialization in emergency medicine in 2012. Despite working full-time in the emergency department of St-Hyacinthe since 2012, Dr. Carbonneau has always been personally interested in complementary and preventive medicine. She strongly believes that the future of medicine lies in multidisciplinary teamwork focused on the needs of each patient to optimize their health and quality of life. She wants to empower patients to take control of their health. That’s why she has decided to join the team at CMIE and focus on bio-identical hormone therapy. 
  
Currently, she is undergoing advanced training in hormone optimization in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is looking forward to sharing her new knowledge with her patients.  
 
Dr. Carbonneau is known for being attentive to her patients’ needs and considers her doctor-patient relationship to be one of collaboration and partnership. She likes to take her time with her patients and sees this new aspect of her practice as a major advantage. 
  
Dr. Carbonneau offers her services in bio-identical hormone therapy at the St-Bruno clinic.


Dr. Cassandre Bénay

Surgeon

Dr. Cassandre Bénay holds a degree in General Surgery from the McGill Faculty of Medicine and has been practicing as a surgeon since 2017. In addition, Dr. Bénay is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. 
  
Dr. Bénay is known for his empathetic, effective, and attentive approach to patient care. At CMIE, he provides top-quality services for the evaluation and treatment of surgical pathologies, as well as on-site minor surgery services. 


Dr. Nathaël Leduc Arbour

Family doctor | Specialized in hormone therapy and eating disorders

Dr. Leduc Arbour worked for 15 years as a family physician in FMGs and hospitals in the Laurentians.  She also co-founded a medical clinic.  Her practice focused primarily on perinatal care, accompanying women and families from pregnancy to birth, including delivery. She also continued to follow families and their children in later years.  She has always had an interest in prevention, women’s health and helping her patients to take charge of their health and regain their power at pivotal moments in their lives. She has always been recognized in her field as a very human and open-minded doctor who fought as a woman and a doctor, and then as head of the obstetrics department, to enable women to experience physiological childbirth and to anchor themselves in their power.     

Through her own search for solutions to morbid obesity and food addiction, Dr. Leduc Arbour developed an expertise in the treatment of food addiction.  She went on to train in addiction medicine and then founded Liberté alimentaire, a group support program for food addicts.   

She joins the CMIE team for hormone therapy and treatment of compulsion, addiction and eating disorders. 


Dr. Marie-Pier Champagne

Family doctor | Specialized in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy

A graduate in family medicine at Laval University since 2021, Dr. Champagne worked as a family doctor by being co-head of GMF in addition to doing emergency, palliative care and practicing in CHSLDs. Although her practice has led her to treat all age groups, Dr. Champagne has always had a particular interest in women’s health. Having followed training on this subject, she is more aware than ever of the challenges faced by women who want to take control of their health.

As a family doctor specializing in bioidentical hormone therapy, she will continue to demonstrate the sense of listening, empathy and thoroughness that characterize her in her medical practice. Joining the CMIE team also allows Dr. Champagne to spend quality time with her patients by developing an integrated health partnership with them.
