Sports Medicine and Regenerative Medicine Clinic
SPORTS MEDICINE is the specialty dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries. Staying active and performing while dealing with normal (and sometimes abnormal) aging of the body can be challenging.
REGENERATIVE MEDICINE focuses on developing methods to repair, replace or regenerate damaged or diseased cells, tissues or organs to restore or establish normal function. Different from the traditional medical approach, it aims at stimulatingthe body to regenerate tissue lesions. We treat tendon lesions (tendinitis, tendinopathies) and degenerative lesions such as osteoarthritis and many painful conditions.
Conditions treated
- Tendon involvement: Tendinitis, tendinopathy
- Degenerative diseases: Osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal painful conditions
- Sports injuries: tendinous tears, strains, etc…
- Others: Carpal tunnel and other nerve compressions, triggering fingers, capsulitis, bursitis.
This approach doesn’t go against the traditional medical approach but is intended to be complementary. The goal of using several approaches in synergy is to increase the chances of success in the medium and long term.
